SZIGET FESTIVAL

Hungary: August 9 - 16, 2010

The biggest party of Europe takes place on an island in the Danube in the city Budapest, Hungary. Every August thousands of young people from all over Europe head to what has become the biggest summer event of the continent. Over 500 bands and artists perform on more then 40 stages: pop, rock, dance, worldmusic, theatre, etc...

What makes Sziget unique among the big festivals is the location in the heart of one of Europe's most vibrant cities; the fact that anyone can put their tent wherever they like, whether it's just next to the stage or on the riverside; the international feeling, only 25% of the visitors comes out of Hungary; the wide variety of good food and beverage for prices and off course the great weather.

The festival opens it's gates on August 10 with a big openingparty, the festival ends in the morning of the 17th. Info about the line-up you can find on www.szigetfest.co.uk.

A beer: 1 euro, fries: 80 cents, shower: free with camping ticket, sandwich, 1.20 euro. One week of festival ticket including camping is € 170, excluding camping €140.
